As a Paris wedding photographer, I recently had the incredible opportunity to be part of the most beautiful editorial at the château de Champlâtreux. This editorial had magic, romance, and breathtaking backdrops that made every moment truly unforgettable.

The Château de Champlâtreux is a gorgeous wedding venue that offers multiple indoor and outdoor spaces. I loved exploring the masterpiece of architecture, nestled amidst lush greenery and rolling lawns. Come along with me to see what this stunning edifice has to offer. I also share what a great time I had documenting this as a Paris wedding photographer.

Château de Champlâtreux

The Château de Champlâtreux (@chateaudechamplatreux) has a beautiful history that dates back to the 18th century. It was rebuilt as a home to host lavish events, which also makes it perfect for wedding ceremonies now. This lovely castle is close to the Charles de Gaulle International Airport and also just half an hour away from the heart of Paris!

The Blue Room had been part of a film set with Johnny Depp in it! You can see the post with Johnny Depp on the Château de Champlatreux’ official Instagram page.

The Salon Blue, where this wedding editorial took place, is simply magnificent with lighting, and I especially loved this because it fits right in with my light and airy wedding photography style. The soft golden light is let in by beautiful French windows, but you won’t see that in the Johnny Depp post!

The wedding invites and stationery set from Elephant Limbo (@elephantlimbo) had a beautiful vintage flare that matched the venue and also this wedding’s theme. The bridal shoes from Kate Whitcomb (@katewhitcombshoes) perfectly matched the theme in the beautiful flatlay. The Blue Room had a stunning table set up and a beautiful flower centrepiece from Hocus Crocus Florals and Event Design (@hocuscrocusflorals).   

The Mesmerizing Details of This Château de Champlâtreux Wedding

One thing you’ll love about these pictures is how the accent colours like gold come to life. As a result of the pastel blue backdrop of the room itself, the pinks, greens, and oranges also look that much brighter and eye-catching. I was struck by the beauty of everything as I captured each detail.

You’ll also love the wedding cakes from Cake House Design (@cakehousedesign) that were part of this editorial. Magnificently set up on a polished wooden vintage dresser with a mirror, they stood out and enthralled. There was a one-tier, two-tier, and three-tier option in colours that captured the timeless love and romance and also represented the beauty of the theme.

After the room details, it was time to capture the beautiful couple next. Looking dapper in a suit from Stitch & Tie (@stitchandtie), the groom led the bride in a romantic pose on the doorstep. The bride stunned, too, in a gown from Pronovias (@pronovias) and hair and makeup from Sunkissed- Made Up (@sunkissedandmadeup).
